NGS Open Garden and Opening of the Oak Collection on Sunday 19th May 2019, 11am to 4pm.

Gallops - Specialist dealers in architectural salvage and antiques.

Russell Wood Antiques - Antique decorative furniture and textiles.

The Mallow Tailor - Artisan filled chocolates. Choice of filings between sea salted caramel, vanilla marshmallow or both that they call caramallow. All come enrobed with dark, milk, white or a mix of chocolate.
Needle & Stitch - Free motion machine stitched home decor including lampshades, lanterns, cushions and framed textile artworks with a very homely rustic feel focussing on wildlife, nature and the countryside.

Harry Legge-Bourke, owner and 7th generation custodian of the Estate, will be talking about and opening the Glanusk Oak Collection.
Everyone’s favourite allotment expert Terry Walton will be in conversation with news of his allotment, Q&A and book signing.
Monmouth Male Voice Choir will be performing in the Stretch Tent and on the lawn.
Georgie Newbery from Common Farm Flowers will be talking about growing cut flowers for pleasure and profit whilst demonstrating how to hand tie a bouquet, followed by book signing.
Cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks will be served at the family run tea tent, with delicious locally produced and sourced food available all day from Sugarloaf Catering , The Parsnipship and Beacons Farm Shop at The Welsh Venison Centre .
In addition there will be a Beer Tent run by Bang-On Brewery serving Welsh beers and ciders, as well as Bubbles and Berries Prosecco Bar using sirops from The Preservation Society .
After a busy and productive year Sam our Head Gardener can be found in the garden and will be available for chats and questions during the day.
Accessibility information - half of the garden is accessible by wheel chair, with views of the other half. We do have a Mule to move people around if they can leave their chair.
