Due to a very small budget, we are not actually planning a true wedding reception, but more of a casual dinner celebration after our ceremony. We have reserved a party room, at the restaurant where we had our first date, and will be only paying for our wedding party's (my 3 adult children & his daughter & best friend) and our parent's meals. casual wedding reception items
I am trying to figure out how to word this on our reception invitations. The majority of those invited to join us for our dinner celebration already know and are totally fine with it, but I need to formally write/explain the situation/expectation with the invitation. Any suggestions as to how to word this?
