On Sunday July 23 I was honored to attend a bridal gown shopping day with one of my dearest friends. She had recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and her oldest daughter was getting married. In years past, the family had only utilized Bridal & Formal for all their prom and special occasion needs. Within trying on two dresses the bride to be had found the one. The moment was filled with much love and laughter. However it was short lived... The sales executive in the next bay came over to our bride and said that her client would like to try the dress on. We proceeded to photograph and take in this special moment when once again.. the sales executive proceeded to get more aggressive. After measurements were taken the wedding gown was literally rushed into the next changing room. Within minutes I saw the same dress on another bride to be. . I was extremely upset to see our bride in tears. It was disheartening for it completely took away... from that once in a lifetime moment that every little girl dreams of. When completing the payment transaction the sales executive came up to the sales counter and stated that she would need the dress for her client. I was completely lost for words. Bridal & Formal emphasis on "extensively training their employees so that Brides are immediately greeted by skilled experts. Bridal & Formal understand that choosing a bridal gown is important and they are firmly committed to making all brides look and feel beautiful on their special day." I must ask if this outstanding customer service we experienced ...would have been given if the dress had been a couture wedding gown. The worst part about this experience was to witness it.
